    lovely post , Congrats! these portraits have commanded very high prices in intl auctions ..note the type of the people and the expressions…it seems they were portraits in living time, and at death they were cut to fit the mummy…see the british museum page on this …..thank you for sharing, and..note this were made mor than thosand years ago and none are black-now in actual egypt you see a lot of them… this as an statement just give us a sight of the society at that time…note that they are also great art works…
