The Heat Is On

I first found this song on Agneta Faltskog’s (blond woman in Abba)  album “Wrap Your Arms Around Me” which was produced by Mike Chapman who also produced “Parallel Lines” by Blondie and wrote “Simply the Best”. I was then told by Olly that it was actually originally a song by Noosha Fox (who the girl out of Goldfrapp has based herself on) which is even better. Here are both versions to compare and contrast, as well as the two women. (Look out for Noosha’s knee based dancing, Agneta’s spectacular arrival in fur coat and silver volvo, and the inspired choice of auld herring pickler Svendersson on accordion)
